We Will Do
Based on 16-year of successful clinical experience at Surmang, serving over 80,000 patients for free since 1992, Amara's goal is to roll out the Surmang prototype to the entire region of the ultra poor: the 30 million Chinese who earn less than ¥1 per day (US13$) .
The goals are providing regional health, residential and online training of medical providers, and extending the reach of the Chinese Public Health System to the most remote, poorest areas of China, creating a sustainable model, a rural health network.
